Kelly Barlow
Founder & Principal
Kelly is the Board Chair of California Trout an organization whose goal is to restore vibrance and abundance to California's freshwater ecosystems, and to keep them that way for years to come. Kelly is a Partner Emeritus of ValueAct Capital (VAC), where he was responsible for sourcing and managing concentrated public equity investments. Over his nearly 20-year career, VAC became one of the most respected and highest returning governance oriented public equities managers in the world.
During his tenure, Kelly served as a director on numerous public and private companies including Adobe Systems, Inc., Alliance Data Systems Corporation, Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc. and KAR Auction Services, Inc. Most recently, he was the Co-Portfolio Manager of the ValueAct Spring Fund which focused on making constructive investments that addressed environmental and societal issues. He brings this experience and expertise to the PPIC Water Policy Center Advisory Council.
